Bespoke commissions
A bespoke garment begins with nothing — no pattern, no size, no precedent. Over three to six months it becomes a thing that fits one body on earth. This is the older of the two houses and still the one Georgina loves most.

Six stages, one garment
Drafting
A pattern is drawn on paper to your own measurements — no block bought in, no size chart. This is the difference between fitted and made for you.
The toile
A calico version of the garment, fitted on your body and marked in pencil. Seams move, necklines rise, hems settle. Nothing costly is cut until this is right.
Cutting the cloth
Silk, lace, beaded tulle or shweshwe — laid, cut and constructed with internal boning, linings and a hand-finished hem.
Final fittings
Two to three, spaced across the last weeks. Beading is placed by hand at this stage so it follows your finished shape.
Handover
Pressed, bagged, boxed, with a care card and a repair promise. Travelling clients receive it insured door to door.
