Yes. Nothing in the house is sold as a standard size. Every gown, bridal or ready-to-wear, is cut to your own measurements by our in-house tailors in Windhoek. That is why orders begin with a conversation rather than an add-to-cart button.
Because we need your measurements, your date and your event before we can promise anything. Georgina speaks to every client personally, confirms what will suit you and only then quotes the piece. It takes one message and it is the reason our gowns fit.
Eleven: bust, underbust, natural waist, high hip, hip, shoulder to bust point, shoulder to waist, waist to hem, armhole and bicep, nape to floor, and your height with heel height. The measurement guide explains how to take each one.
That is the point of made-to-measure. There is no sample size to squeeze into and no size range to fall outside of. The pattern is cut around you, whatever your proportions.
Tell us early and it is a non-issue. We can take a gown in at the final fitting; letting one out is harder, so avoid any dramatic change in the last month and keep us informed.
A bespoke commission runs six to eight months, made-to-measure from the archive four to five months, and ready-to-wear pieces roughly three months. Alterations to an existing gown can be done in as little as six weeks.
Eight to six months before the wedding. That is when fabric can be sourced without air freight and when you still have room to change the silhouette entirely after seeing the toile.
Not necessarily. There are gowns we can build in ten weeks if the design cooperates, and alterations are possible far later than most brides assume. Ask before you assume you have missed it.
Yes, and we prefer to. Measuring the whole party in one window means one fabric bolt, one consignment and a group that actually matches rather than approximating the same colour from different shops.
Ready-to-wear pieces start from N$ 4,000. Bespoke couture starts from N$ 38,000 and heirloom or fully-beaded commissions from N$ 65,000. Every commission is quoted in full after the consultation, with no hidden additions.
Three payments: 30% on signing to secure your date, 40% at the toile fitting before fabric is cut, and the final 30% at the last fitting when the finished gown is presented.
All commissions are invoiced in Namibian dollars. Prices shown in other currencies on the site are indicative guide prices converted for convenience.
The signing deposit reserves atelier time and pattern-cutting hours, so it is not refundable once work has begun. If your date moves we will do everything reasonable to move with you.
Yes. A large part of the house is South African: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and the smaller towns. The process runs on video consultations, locally taken measurements, a posted toile and insured courier delivery.
We ship worldwide by insured express courier in a rigid gown box, typically five to twelve working days. Duties and local import charges are payable by the client and quoted before dispatch.
No. Many brides never visit the atelier. Fittings are done on video against a plain wall, with a calico toile posted to you for bespoke commissions.
Of course — collection from the Windhoek atelier is free, and we will steam and dress you in it before you leave.

Yes. Re-fitting and alterations are one of our services, including serious structural refits on gowns bought abroad or inherited.
Heirloom commissions are some of our favourite work — an inherited gown reworked into something you would choose yourself, keeping the lace, the buttons or the veil.
