Many of our clients marry twice over, or celebrate in traditional dress at events that have nothing to do with weddings. We make Herero, Ovambo, Xhosa, Zulu, Tswana, Nigerian and Ghanaian-inspired attire with the same pattern-cutting discipline as a couture gown.
We work from family reference, photographs and the elders' expectations, then cut it to fit properly — because heritage dressing borrowed and safety-pinned never photographs the way it should.
For Manama we favour matte crêpe, long sleeves in weightless georgette and modest-cut linings that stay opaque under strong light.
