Buying ready-to-wear from Hong Kong
A graduation dress has two jobs: it has to sit correctly under an academic gown for the ceremony and carry the whole afternoon once the gown is handed back. Ours are cut with a clean shoulder line and a hem that clears a stage step.
Shoulder and hem are adjusted for the gown you'll be wearing over it, and for the shoes you'll walk in.
For Hong Kong we favour silk gazar, precise tailored crêpe and clean unfussy surfaces that photograph sharply.

Sized, adjusted, sent
Measurements are taken locally in Hong Kong to our written brief, or by a tailor we brief directly. The toile is couriered to you, photographed on your body and adjusted before the final fabric is cut. The finished garment ships insured, door-to-door, in a garment box with a steaming and dressing guide.
