Buying ready-to-wear from Mumbai
A graduation dress has two jobs: it has to sit correctly under an academic gown for the ceremony and carry the whole afternoon once the gown is handed back. Ours are cut with a clean shoulder line and a hem that clears a stage step.
Shoulder and hem are adjusted for the gown you'll be wearing over it, and for the shoes you'll walk in.
For Mumbai we favour silk georgette, hand-beaded tulle and monsoon-weight linings for humidity and multi-day events.

Sized, adjusted, sent
Measurements are taken locally in Mumbai to our written brief, or by a tailor we brief directly. The toile is couriered to you, photographed on your body and adjusted before the final fabric is cut. The finished garment ships insured, door-to-door, in a garment box with a steaming and dressing guide.
