Traditional & Cultural Dresses in
Lusaka
Clients in Lusaka commission from our Windhoek atelier the same way clients across the road do: a video consultation, a measured brief, a posted toile and photographed fit checks. Nothing about the garment is compromised by the distance — only the fitting-room chair is missing.
Buying ready-to-wear from Lusaka
Ready-made cultural dressing for traditional ceremonies, lobola and umembeso, and the traditional half of a two-part wedding day — cut in imported wax print, aso-oke and hand-selected trim.
Print placement is fixed, so we adjust in the seams rather than recutting. One appointment is usually enough.
For Lusaka we favour silk mikado, breathable illusion tulle and dust-forgiving hems for dry heat and long outdoor ceremonies.
What's included
- Try-on appointment
- Seam adjustment with print alignment kept true
- Head-wrap or accessory pairing
- Press and garment bag
Sized, adjusted, sent
Measurements are taken locally in Lusaka to our written brief, or by a tailor we brief directly. The toile is couriered to you, photographed on your body and adjusted before the final fabric is cut. The finished garment ships insured, door-to-door, in a garment box with a steaming and dressing guide.
