Lace Wedding Dresses
made to measure

Lace is the most requested fabric in the atelier and the most often handled badly. A lace gown reads as expensive only when the pattern is placed — motifs matched across the side seams, the scallop following the neckline instead of being cut off mid-flower, and the hem finished with the lace's own edge rather than a sewn-on trim.

How we cut it

We lay the pattern pieces on the lace itself and move them until the repeats line up, then hand-appliqué the joins so no seam interrupts the design. Illusion panels are cut from the same lace family so the sleeve and the bodice never look like two different dresses.

Anyone who wants texture in photographs without weight. Lace carries a garden ceremony, a church aisle and a candlelit reception equally well.

Machine-cut lace edges and glued motifs are the giveaway of a rushed gown. Ours are stitched, and you can turn the dress inside out to check.
