Every gown we make starts from one set of measurements, which means there is no such thing as a plus size in this atelier — only your size. You will never be asked to try a sample three sizes too small and imagine the rest.

We draft a fresh pattern for your proportions, with internal support engineered for the weight of the fabric you choose, wider strap or sleeve options if you want them, and seam placement that works with your shape rather than against it.

For Helderberg brides we favour silk crêpe and stable mikado over floating chiffon, weight the hem so the skirt returns to the body rather than lifting, and secure the neckline so it holds through photographs on an exposed lawn. Bridesmaids for the same wedding are cut from a single dye lot so the colour matches in the light off the bay. Fittings are remote by default, with the finished gown couriered insured to your door.
