Vintage Wedding Dresses in
Secunda

We dress brides marrying in and around Secunda. The gown is drafted to your measurements alone, in silk organza, illusion tulle and unlined chiffon skirting chosen for escarpment cloud, lowveld heat and bushveld gold — then fitted, refined and delivered to you in Mpumalanga.

A vintage wedding dress for Secunda

Vintage means one of two things here: a new gown drafted in the language of another decade, or an heirloom taken apart and rebuilt to fit you. We do both, and the second is often the most moving thing we make.

For a rebuild we unpick, clean, replace perished linings and re-cut to your measurements, keeping the original lace wherever it will survive. For a new gown we draft period-accurate seams — a 1930s bias cut, a 1950s waist, a 1970s sleeve — with modern internal support.

Aged silk can tear on the needle. We assess an heirloom in person or from detailed photographs before we promise anything.

Fittings from Secunda

Secunda brides work with us remotely and comfortably: a video consultation to begin, a measurement appointment with a local seamstress we brief directly, a toile posted to you for a photographed fit check, then two refinement rounds before the finished gown is couriered to Secunda with a steaming and dressing guide. Brides who prefer to visit the Windhoek atelier condense the process into two unhurried trips.
