Designing for this setting
Before a single line is drawn we ask three questions about Mabula: what time is the ceremony, what are you walking across, and what is the weather in Bela-Bela that month. Those answers set the fabric, the hem weight and whether your train stays on past the photographs.
Everything is then drafted to your measurements alone — no sample size taken in, no compromise inherited from a rail. You see a full calico toile before any silk is cut.
