Short Wedding Dresses
made to measure
A short gown is judged entirely on hem line and hem finish. A centimetre either way changes the proportion of your whole leg, so we set it on you, in your shoes, and then look at it in a photograph before we sew.
How we cut it
Structured bodice, clean hem with a faced or horsehair edge so it holds its shape, and an optional overskirt if you want a long look for the ceremony and a short one afterwards.
Civil ceremonies, registry offices, receptions, after-parties and second looks.
A short dress needs a better fit than a long one — nothing is hidden by the skirt.
