Bespoke bridalWedding Dresses With Detachable Trains
Wedding Dresses With Detachable Trains
made to measure
A detachable train lets you have a cathedral entrance and then dance without pinning half a metre of silk to your wrist. The trick is that the gown must look finished in both states.
How we cut it
The train attaches at a concealed waist seam or shoulder point with covered hooks rather than visible clips. We fit the dress twice — once with the train and once without — so neither version looks like it is missing something.
Long ceremonies followed by long receptions; venues with a big aisle and a small dance floor.
Practise the removal at your final fitting so whoever helps you knows the sequence.
